Arkansas Fall Retreat

After receiving one film camera for my birthday, Will got all excited about shooting film with me and was really wanting to have a film camera of his own. After a few conversations about the excitement we both shared for shooting film we not only got a package from Aunt Marilyn of multiple old film cameras, but Will’s parents also gave us one that Will has officially claimed as his own. Then, we agreed we would share Aunt Marilyn’s. We have even contemplated getting several different ASA (ISO)  film rolls to carry around all of the cameras at once! Haha. What a sight that would be!! Here we are writing at cuppies and joe. We spent a long day there enjoying the cool weather, coffee and writing letters.

So a month or so later…., (as you can see) we have finally developed our first three rolls!! So far, so good. We only had a few blurry (like maybe 4)!!! And we are more excited than ever to shoot with film. The coolest part is we can still share them with you all because they scanned in our negatives for us onto a disk at Bedford Camera.

Trip to Salem for a long weekend.

It was fun taking photos in Missouri this fall. Will took this one of me and my mom, its not perfect but I love the seine. It’s just the way it has always been on our back step. I love my mommy and miss these talks every day.

I took these while babysitting for the Andrews. The are a really sweet bunch. Will came and helped one Saturday night and we got a few of them on the swings! I will be sure to send them a copy if they are wondering. =)

We are still shooting and will have more rolls to develop soon!! We hope to make and album to keepsake our film adventures….I have learned so much and feel like film gives us a lot of creative freedom. We hope you enjoy us sharing these with you. Again.
