Thank You

Will and I would like to extend a great big thank you to all of our family and friends who made our wedding day special. We are so blessed to be surrounded with Godly role models who have given us advice and support as we embark on our newest adventure, “married life”.

I can honestly say I cried when I walked around the corner of the house and saw all of you sitting there. I couldn’t believe the number of people who where there for us even when our wedding was a long trip for many of our guests. I cannot say in words how much that truly ment to me, and how it made the day the best that it could be. With out all of you, our wedding wouldn’t have been as perfect as it was.

Our lovely guests

Will and I keep saying to each other, “our wedding was perfect” and maybe thats just because it was our wedding, but with all the threats of rain, the out of town location, and the pure fact that we had no idea what we were doing…(I mean who really does, you don’t exactly get to “practice” a wedding) our family and friends made the day perfect. With out all of the help from our families we couldn’t have had the wedding we were able to have. So to us, it was a perfect day. And we want to thank you.

A big thanks goes out to our officiant Jeff for doing such a wonderful job, and being there keeping Will in line from the very beginning 😉 But, really we are so blessed to know, and be such good friends with Jeff Simmons and his lovely family.

I would like to send a special thanks to my parents and grandparents. They put a lot of thought, hard work and effort into the wedding details. My grandma was able to think of things that I couldn’t not have thought of on my own. Between her and my aunt Debbie the food was amazing. My dad and grandpa helped with everything I asked for. They made the lights, a dance floor, tables and a lot more be possible for our wedding. My mom was more support than I could have ever imagined. I couldn’t have done it without you mommy.

I also have to give a big shout out to Teresa Whelan who helped keep the sanity. My “unofficial wedding coordinator” got decorations in place, kept the peace, made sure everyone walked in on time and I’m sure did a lot more than I was even aware of. I couldn’t have done it with out you. Thank you.

There are so many more people who made this wedding possible and I can’t thank each of you enough.

Then last but certainly not least of all, our wedding party. Our closest friends and siblings. You all are really what held us together that day, made us laugh, made us cry with your toasts and cried with us at the ceremony. Who gave us big hugs of support and love. We wouldn’t have had a wedding with out all of you!! You guys are the best. Always stay close and know that we thank you all for always being there for us.

Then last but not least I want to again thank everyone who came and helped even if it wasn’t in a big way or I didn’t mention your name please forgive me. I really do appreciate all that was done to make our wedding perfect. Thank you for being a part of our special day. Please continue to pray for us and encourage us as we wish to do the same with all of you. THANK YOU!

  1. Jessica,
Reading all your thank you’s made me cry once again, not because I am sad but because I know you put so much thought into thanking everyone. I could never begin to tell you how much I love you in words but I want to tell you how proud I am of you for being who you are and always being so thoughtful and caring of other people…..remember when you were little and the little girl on the bus got her paper torn up? I was so proud of you for caring for that little girl when you didn’t even know her but you wanted to show her somebody cared by just patting her on the head…..you have a heart after God’s heart…..and about the wedding…it was our pleasure to be apart of something so beautiful and you and Will are correct when you say it was the perfect wedding because it was!!! God was at your wedding!!! I also cried when I looked out into the yard and fully realized how amazing God is and how satan was defeated the minute you said “I do!” What God has put together, you and Will, can never be broken!!! Praise God!!! I love you always and forever!!! Mommy
